About me

I am Associate Professor of Sustainability and Innovation Management at the Department of Environmental Systems Sciences, at the University of Graz, Austria.
My research focuses on business model innovation for sustainability and the circular economy, sustainable innovation performance and its measurement, and strategic issues in innovation and sustainability management. Digitalization serves as a cross-cutting theme across these research areas.

In addition, I have been Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Environmental, Regional and Educational Sciences, University of Graz since October 2024.

I also serve as Associate Editor of the Journal Business and Society Review and as Co-Chair of the New Business Models Conference Series.

Over the past years, I have been a visiting scholar and fellow at University of Jyväskylä, School of Business and Economics (Finland); ESCP Europe Business School, Berlin campus (Germany); Radboud University Nijmegen (the Netherlands); and IMED Business School (Brazil), among others.
